Reiki Treatment
Reiki is a very gentle healing modality that is administered with a person fully clothed. All life forms are permeated with energy. This energy is pure, limitless, constantly surrounding and interacting with us. Life energy, or "prana" (Indian) "ki" (Japanese) or "chi" (Chinese) has long been understood in Eastern cultures as the creative foundation of the universe. It organizes our world, and influences our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee) is a method of connecting this universal energy with the body's innate potential for healing.
Our emphasis is to create a sense of well-being, and energetic self-sufficiency through Reiki, by boosting the energy available to the body to heal so that you enhance the connections both within and outside of you that nurture your growth and healing in all ways.
We teach the traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho system of Reiki. Reiki's origins are found in the Tibetan sutras, ancient records of cosmology and philosophy.Some debate, based on their intuitive visions that Reiki goes back even further, to Lemurian times. It can be administered by a practitioner, learned for self-treatment, or learned to give treatment to others. In this way Reiki empowers the individual and was developed to deliver compassionate service to the local and global community. It boosts the body's homeostatic regulations and restores balance to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Reiki promotes the highest healing good for all living beings and is non- denominational. It can be used by anyone who practices any religion or spiritual orientation.
Individual sessions generally last one hour and can enhance treatment for most physical, emotional, spiritual and mental imbalances. Reiki is most successful when used as an adjunct therapy, in addition to other treatments in the allopathic or alternative medical field. Many medical centers, hospice care facilities, and hospitals all over the world now have Reiki treatments available on their premises.
Reiki Certification Classes
Reiki Level I Part A (6 hours) - $100.00 or rs.1000
In this class you will learn the fundamentals of energy work in hands on healing practice. We will cover the self care skills that help us become more effective healers, including dietary requirements, the boundaries of energetic practice, and meditation techniques that help us gain focus and self-awareness. You will be given the first Reiki attunement but not the first Reiki symbol until you practice on yourself using the hand positions for 21 days. The premise of this is that you cannot begin to heal others until you first work on healing yourself. During this twenty one day cleanse and practice period, we will be available by phone to answer questions about your self healing process and the development of your intuition.
Reiki Level I Part B (6 hours) - $100.00 or rs.1000
In this class you will receive the first Reiki symbol after your twenty-one day practice. This portion of the class series includes hands on practice with others and reviewing your feelings and sensations from the past weeks. After learning some additional techniques for hands on healing and developing your intuition, we will spend the rest of the time with hands on practice, questions, and review.
Reiki Level II (8 hours) - $150 or rs.1500 (prerequisite 20 hours of documented case study)
In this class we will continue discussing the boundaries of energetic practice, self care skills and meditation practice. We will also expand the class to discuss how different Reiki sessions are administered in various settings, and how we can overcome the obstacles in building our practice. We will cover some steps to take in creating a successful practice. The Reiki level two symbols are given and discussed. We will work with distance healing, which can be extremely useful for many aspects of healing, especially when friends and family live far away. Exercises will be given to further enhance intuition.
Reiki Master Class Series - (4 six hour days) $600.00 paid in quarterly installments or rs.15,000. Prerequisites are, 40 hours of documented case study, and Reiki Levels I and II. Also Anatomy for Reiki Practitioners (guided self study and practice for one year, including a basic knowledge of the major meridians, the chakras, and basic anatomy and physiology) is required Coursework includes:
*Guided self study over one year of the chakra system, major meridians and basic anatomy and physiology
*Meditation techniques and support for your practice
*Learning how to make and work with a distance healing grid
*Reiki Healing attunements
*Practicing the importance of grounding techniques
*Attunement to the Reiki Master symbol
*Working with the Hayashi Healing Guide and anatomical principles applied to Reiki
Reiki Teacher Training
In this class which is taught individually, you will learn lesson plans for Reiki I, II, advanced level techniques, the Reiki Master Class and the Reiki Master Teacher Class. You will receive the Reiki Master Teacher attunement. We will review all techniques and discuss the obstacles to building a teaching practice. Advanced level self care techniques will be emphasized such as utilizing alternative modalities for healing, and cleansing, You will receive ongoing permanent support for establishing your teaching practice.
Individual support over the course of your development as a Reiki teacher is given on an as needed basis. We encourage coming to Reiki I, II and Master classes if needed, for you to gain an understanding of students at different levels, and the types of support needed for them to be successful in their practices. A strong, daily meditation practice at this level is required.
Teacher training is priced on an individual basis according to the skill level of the student. All classes are customized to each teacher. We emphasize the mastery of both the anatomy of energetic movement in the eastern traditions, as well as a solid knowledge of western anatomy and physiology.
