Dietary Consultations and Cleansing

Today according to the US Surgeon General, many conditions are dramatically improved and even cured through altering diet and lifestyle.

Over the 14 years of my practice I have seen that the primary source of over all well being depends of what we eat, the method of cooking and the way that we actually consume that food. Throughout these years, through practical experience with patients and years of research on foods that heal I have developed a system of working with every individual, according to their needs, and most importantly the most realistic way to make dietary and lifestyle changes.

In the book Permaculture Bill Mollison writes that "people are built molecule by molecule, cycling through themselves the materials of their environment : it's air, soils, foods, minerals and pathogens. Over time people create their own ecology. Any system or organism can accept only the quantity of a resource which can be used productively. Any resource input beyond that point throws the system or organism into disorder. Over supply of a resource is chronic pollution."

Eating seasonally and eating locally can be one of the best forms of healing available.

From each nutritional and cleansing consultation you will receive a written week by week plan for the duration of your treatment. This will include a cleansing program based on your personal requirements. The types of cleanses vary greatly depending the the person and the condition. You may take:

1. Foods that have cleansing properties.
2. Teas that have cleansing properties
3. Herbs that have cleansing properties
4. Some forms of mild fasting and cleansing diets may be recommended.
5. Mono diets where you take one particular substance for a certain purpose may be prescribed.
6. Foods and juices that are fresh, rather than cooked.
7. Foods that are cooked, nourishing and easily digested may also be recommended.

In my clinical experience with pain reduction and improving a variety of symptoms cleansing and dietary changes can reduce the clients' complaints by 50% to 80%.
